Cause app privacy policy

This Privacy Policy covers the information we collect about you when you use the Cause app or otherwise interact with us. If you do not agree with this policy, do not access or use the Cause app or interact with any other aspect of our business.

Our Service

The Cause app – is a cloud platform to create and share tracking journals. From its functions, it follows that:

1. The user is identified with signing in. The account should be created to use the Cause app.
2. Users may create, share or collaborate on pieces of user generated content (tracking journals) stored in a cloud service.

Information Collection and Use

We collect user Emails through authentication. We don’t use this data other than to authenticate a user. Emails can be shared with other Service users only if you grant permission to others to collaborate on your created content.

Any other data input in the app is considered as a user generated data and can be shared with other Cause app users only by your explicit intention.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use the Cause app, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Storing data

All collected data is stored in our Service Provider – Firebase. It uses encryption to store personal data like Emails.

Control over your data

You have the ability to delete your account and remove your data within the app on the User profile page.

Links to Other Sites

The Cause app may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

The Cause app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
